In the past few years, I have been receiving numerous questions regarding mental health, so I have created this page in order to answer some of the most frequently asked questions.

Does mental health treatment help ?
Yes. Absolutely. A person’s illness can be managed, challenges can be overcome, and they can live productive life with the appropriate treatment. The treatment of mental illness is effective. By law, most health plans cover mental health services as well.
Can I prevent mental health problems ?
There is both a no and a yes to the question. No, because many life problems are beyond our control, so if you are mentally weak, sentimental, over-emotional, prone to overthinking, have major stress in life, and have no coping skills, you are at risk of psychological problems.  The other answer is Yes, meaning that if you are bold, courageous, strong, and resourceful, you are less likely to suffer from mental health issues.
Are there any warning signs of mental disorders ?

Yes, there are warning signs, but how well you recognize them depends on how alert and capable you are. Always be on guard. Keep an eye out for symptoms and problems that don’t seem normal to you. Your mental health status depends on some degree of awareness and open-mindedness, therefore Mental Health Awareness is vital. Since Social Media has become a major part of our lives, there are various wrong ideas and misinformation out there constantly, hence, it is essential for you to access the right sources of correct information and avoid being influenced by them.

What causes mental health problems?
Psychological problems can be caused by a variety of factors, including stress, weak personalities, family histories of mental illness, inadequate coping abilities, addictions, risk-taking behavior, lack of self-belief, overdependence on others, excessive worry, and lifestyle issues.
What do I do if I am worried about my mental health?

Anyone can be worried about mental health. It’s natural. You should, however, give your thoughts and concerns adequate consideration and speak with someone reliable or a mental health professional for guidance. But always take action before it is too late.
